Description
Step into Bee City Zoo’s enchanting Festival of Lights, where the zoo transforms into a glowing winter wonderland. Families can explore twinkling pathways, meet gentle animals, and enjoy festive fun under the South Carolina stars. The highlight of the evening is the Winter Wonderland Wagon Ride — a 30-minute journey through illuminated displays, tunnels, and holiday scenes. Visitors can stop by to see Santa, feed giraffes, and enjoy treats like hot cocoa and s’mores. This locally loved event captures the warmth and joy of the holidays in a family-friendly atmosphere perfect for children and adults alike.
Itinerary
- 5:00 PM – Gates open for early entry and animal exhibits
- 6:00 PM – Festival of Lights begins; enjoy snacks and hot cocoa
- 6:30 PM – First wagon ride departs, additional departures every 30 minutes
- 7:00 PM – Visit Santa and participate in animal feedings
- 9:00 PM – Final wagon ride and closing announcements
Price & Availability
$19 per person ages 3+, free for children under 2. Open nightly 6–9 PM (Sun–Thu) and 6–10 PM (Fri–Sat).
Food & Drink
Hot chocolate, s’mores, and snacks available for purchase.
Instructions
Arrive one hour before your selected wagon departure time for check-in.
