**Christmas at the Falls** is a beloved Alabama tradition that transforms Gadsden’s Noccalula Falls Park into a glowing winter wonderland. Beginning November 14 and running through January 3 (Closed Dec 24–25), the park comes alive with millions of twinkling lights and whimsical displays that wind through the scenic trails surrounding the famous 90-foot waterfall. Guests can walk beneath archways of color, snap photos beside illuminated figures, and ride the park’s festive train for a one-of-a-kind view of the Falls lit for the season. Young visitors will love meeting Santa (Nov 28–Dec 23) and the Grinch, while parents can shop and snack at local vendor booths. Upgrade your visit with an Express Train Pass to skip the main line and enjoy extra time soaking in the holiday glow. Families are welcome to stay as long as they wish until closing at 10 PM. Bring cash for vendors, bundle up for cool evenings, and make this your new annual tradition. Itinerary

4:00 PM → Arrive at Noccalula Falls Park and check in for your time slot. 5:00 PM → Walk the illuminated trails and see the waterfall glow. 6:00 PM → Ride the train through the park for panoramic views of the lights. 7:00 PM → Meet Santa and enjoy snacks from local vendors. 8:30 PM → Shop souvenirs or grab hot chocolate before departure (park closes 10 PM).

General Admission Mon–Thurs $12; Fri–Sun $18 (includes train ride). Express Train Pass $10 for 2 passengers optional.

Restrictions

No refunds. Pets allowed only on designated “Paws on the Falls” nights. Duration flexible – arrive within your time slot and stay until 10 PM.
