Bring your family to Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch for a timeless holiday tradition: cutting your own Christmas tree in the heart of Colorado’s winter wonderland. From November 24 through Christmas Eve, guests can explore private forestland blanketed in snow to find the perfect tree to bring home. Enjoy the crisp mountain air, take photos among the pines, and sip from a thermos of cocoa while you work. Both cut-your-own and pre-cut trees are available, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own hand saws. This peaceful alpine outing is perfect for those looking to reconnect with nature and celebrate the season Colorado-style.
Itinerary
- 9:45 AM – Arrive and check in at Beaver Meadows Ranch office
- 10:00 AM – Walk to designated tree
- 10:15 AM – Select and cut your perfect Christmas tree
- 10:45 AM – Return to parking area with your tree
- 11:00 AM – Warm up, enjoy photos, and load your vehicle
Price & Availability
Trees up to 8 ft $60, over 8 ft $100. Pre-cut trees up to 8 ft $95, over 8 ft $130. Open November 24–December 24, daily 9 AM–3 PM.
Food & Drink
Bring your own thermos and snacks; no food provided on-site.
Instructions
Arrive early and allow time to reach the cutting area before your session ends.
Restrictions
No chainsaws permitted. Snow tires or 4×4 vehicle recommended.
Transportation
Guests drive to the ranch; parking available near the cutting area.
