Experience Christmas as it was meant to be—timeless, elegant, and full of light—at The Felt Estate in Holland, Michigan. Built in the 1920s by inventor Dorr E. Felt, this meticulously restored mansion transforms each December with more than 60 glowing Christmas trees, lush garlands, and historic holiday displays. Guests can explore three floors of Gilded Age beauty at their own pace, from the grand staircase to the airy veranda overlooking the dunes. It’s a self-guided journey through history, art, and the festive spirit of the season.
Itinerary
- 4:00 PM – Arrive and check in at Felt Mansion, 6597 138th Ave, Holland, MI
4:10 PM – Begin exploring the main floor, featuring the grand ballroom and decorated foyer
4:30 PM – Wander through the upper levels filled with themed Christmas trees and vintage furnishings
5:15 PM – Visit the veranda or outbuildings (weather permitting)
6:00 PM – Continue exploring at your own pace or revisit your favorite rooms
7:45 PM – Final admission; doors close at 8:00 PM
