As night falls, the grand Tudor-revival estate of automotive heiress Matilda Dodge Wilson is transformed into a shimmering landscape of light, color, and festive wonder. Wander through the snow-dusted gardens and courtyards, where millions of twinkling bulbs trace the outlines of turrets, trees, and terraces. Inside, a portion of the 110-room mansion is open for viewing, its elegant interiors dressed in seasonal finery that recalls the grandeur of the 1920s. Guests can sip warm beverages, roast s’mores by the bonfire, and snap photos under arches of sparkling lights. The experience blends art, architecture, and nostalgia into an unforgettable evening perfect for couples, families, and friends. Itinerary
5:15 PM Arrival → Park onsite and take the complimentary shuttle to the mansion grounds. 5:30 PM Entry → Begin your self-guided stroll through the illuminated gardens and light displays. 6:00 PM Mansion Visit → Step inside Meadow Brook Hall for an optional glimpse of its holiday décor. 6:30 PM Festive Break → Warm up by the bonfire with cocoa, wine, or snacks from food trucks. 7:00 PM Grand Finale → End your evening with music, lights, and a final look at the glowing Pegasus Fountain.
